FRONTLINE C.A.R.E. is an  organization  that provides mentoring, life skills coaching, and exposure to cultural  experiences, both in and out of our own communities. We offer assistance with  finding solutions to life obstacles for at-risk families, adolescents, young  adults, and the homeless,  through hosting and facilitating community events, training sessions, various  workshops, and support groups.

Originally created in 1998, FRONTLINE C.A.R.E. provides mentoring, life-skill coaching, exposure to cultural experiences both in and out of our own communities, assistance with finding solutions to life obstacles for at-risk families, adolescents, young adults, and the homeless through hosting and facilitating community events, training sessions, various workshops and support groups. Revamped in 2011, FRONTLINE C.A.R.E. has a heart for people, and with passionate volunteers driving the mission, FRONTLINE will connect with others, making a lasting impact.

FRONTLINE C.A.R.E. is a multi-cultural group consisting of people from all walks of life who have been dedicated to giving themselves to those in need. FRONTLINE plans on making a lasting impression, by lasting and staying committed  to its vision. The organization’s volunteers have deep ties to the outreach  community, giving them a sense of ownership and connection to  the organization’s mission.

Frontline partnered with The Way -IC and Montgomery County in sponsoring the 2012 Family Fun Day in the Park event.  The event took place on Saturday, April 14, 2012.  There were about 150 people from the community that participated in this event.  Volunteers from The Way Church and Frontline C.A.R.E. organization along with student from Houston Community College (HCC) provided all the man power for setting up, serving the community with food and fun games and activities and they participated in taking down the equipment.  The community had an opportunity to enjoy free food, games & sports competitions, music, fun and fellowship.  The family fun day in the park event is the organization's way of giving back to the community and allowing the community to get to know the organization and its members.  Missouri City is one of the communities that this organization has selected to give back to.  Photos can be viewed here.

Frontline C.A.R.E. and The Way - Interdenominational Church in February 2012,  reached out to Ridgemont Teachers in Appreciation for all they do to provide quality education to their students.  We applaud you, Be Encouraged  and Don't Stop doing what you do!  This event was directed by Sparkle Jones!    See Photos

Frontline C.A.R.E. and The Way Interdenominational Church began a mission dedicated to feed the homeless on January 14, 2012.  Every weekend after January 14th,  the Pastor and various members would gather and make sack lunches that consisted of a sandwich, a hamburgers or a hot dog, a bag of chips or cookies, water or occasionally a fruit drink or some other type of snack.  Once there was hot homemade chili on a very cold night.  The group would travel to the mid-town area of Houston every Saturday night and pass out the lunches in a several areas.  The locations where the group fed the homeless consisted of the parking lot of Sears and the Fiesta grocery store, under the Pierce elevator on several streets, and many places in between.  There was a place under the bridge downtown near the University of Houston's Downtown campus.  Each night as the group went out and fed the homeless, members of the group would share a testimony of  God at work. Members shared how feeding the homeless had a very powerful impact on their lives. The city of Houston passed an ordinance to restrict feeding of the homeless to a specific location and it was something only authorized groups could do. The Way Interdenominational Church began to seek God to see if there were other ways the group could be instrumental in ministering to the homeless.  As the direction of the ministry to the homeless is being determined, the thing that is for sure is that the organization will continuously be involved in ministering to the lives of the homeless in the Houston area.
